Hello. I’m Elicia Hyder, a full-time writer and novelist.
When I’m not writing, I stay busy with my family and friends—many of whom are age 65+.
If you’re new here, you may have seen my card or “coupons,” which are often found at assisted living homes. If such a card led you to this page, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I volunteer at several facilities, reading stories, painting nails, and singing (often with my mother). My time and friendship is always free of charge, with no strings—except heartstrings—attached.
I’m truly blessed to be a companion and friend to so many.
In addition to facility group activities, I offer my time and volunteer “services” in a variety of ways. Some of these include:
Again, this is always at zero cost to my 65+ friends. Full disclosure: sometimes they offer to buy lunch and sometimes I let them, because dignity.
If you’d like to learn more or get to know me, I am easily reachable through my contact page and social media.
